There is an urgent need to unify the many individuals, agencies and faith based programs throughout our country. Marriage and Relationship Educators may be the key to solving our high divorce rate and the destruction of our families.
Providing couples and families with relationship and marriage intervention services must become society’s top priority. Continuing on its present course, families as we know them today will become virtually non existent.
To accomplish this goal a nationwide organization is needed that will provide educational services in an easily recognizable manner.
Marriage Centers fits that profile. Our name is easy to remember and an instant trigger to the mind.
Why become a Marriage and Relationship Educator Affiliate?
The National Marriage Centers Program will provide intervention without the stigma associated with the term “therapy” or the perception of governmental participation in the program.
Most individuals can associate with the term “Education” because of their childhood school years. It is perceived as a non-threatening environment.
Many men and women also understand that a “coach” can help the team win. Many couples will understand that you as their Educator/Coach will help them succeed as a family.
Couples that attend a group or private session with you as their Marriage Center Educator will view the intervention as a more palatable way for them to seek help with their relationship.
Many of you are currently Relationship Educators or Coaches, either in a professional capacity or through a Community or Faith Based Organization. Your knowledge and experience will make the transition to a Certified Marriage and Relationship Educator effortless.
For those who wish to become active in Marriage Education and Coaching but have had little or no training, the National Marriage Centers has developed a basic on-line course to adequately familiarize yourself with most of the core principals and concepts needed to begin Educating and Coaching Couples.
As an Affiliate you will:
1. Be listed on our National Directory with your personal profile.
2. A FREE Trial Listing. (limited time offer)
3. Participate in our Nationwide Advertising.
4. On-line Educational Training of affiliates.
5. Receive Referrals asking for Marriage and Relationship Help.
6. Pre-Registration for Marriage and Relationship Educational Classes.
7. List you LOCAL classes, events and news to our web site.
9. Partner with other Groups and Professionals in your Community.
10. Affiliate Listings is limited in your Community. (Based on population)
All this and more can be yours by simply completing the Affiliation process.
As a Relationship and Marriage Educator you will provide services at your local affiliated Marriage Center. Some not all will have a professional state license, others will provide services through community and faith based organizations.
Relationship and Marriage Educators are required to follow general curriculum guidelines set by the
National Marriage Centers (To review the outline click here).
If you are currently trained in a relationship or marriage educational program that provides a similar curriculum to that of the Marriage Centers you may use your program in conjunction to ours and adopt any topics not included within your program.
Each Educator and Coach will be required to adhere to a strict
ethical code, set by National Marriage Center.
Affiliation will change the way individuals and couples locate those who can help them in their struggle to preserve their relationship and family.
